In 2016, we restored a historic building in downtown Paonia on Grand Avenue. The Cirque was born and thus a lifestyle boutique emerged that reflected our values and esthetic while meeting a need for locals and visitors alike. At The Cirque Boutique & Gallery we cater to carrying products for the conscious consumer and believe that putting your money where your values are, matters!
The Cirque has always been about relationships; to the artists, to community and to our planet. We represent underserved populations, women-owned small businesses (making up 40% of our brands) and navigate from a place of mindful choices. Our intention is to create a welcoming atmosphere that our customers can sink into. We present beautiful goods that have a rich and compelling story from their makers. It is our hope that anyone can come into The Cirque Boutique and find the perfect gift at an affordable price.
About the Store
My mother owned a wholesale showroom in the Chicago Merchandise Mart for over twenty years. It was there that I was exposed to an incredible array of designers and artists from across the globe and where I‘caught the fever for art, fashion and home design. Our showroom featured handmade artist produced goods and we mentored many young artists in growing and establishing themselves to become viable in an every changing industry.
My international travels and love of textiles brought me not just to beautiful places but to beautiful makers in which their work inspired me to adorn, decorate and ultimately share the beautiful craftsmanship that exploded around me.
